Does the job of an expensive north face coat for less!

A few days before my vacation to Yosemite it was looking like bad weather was rolling in and it would be unseasonably cold. I ordered this packable coat with prime in time for my trip and it completely saved my butt several times. It was comfortable and warm for hiking in 40 degree weather, fit nicely in my bag when it wasn’t needed and kept me dry though several down pours and waterfall mist trails. Thumbs up!

A must have.

Omg, you guys...this jacket...it is AMAZING!!!!! Do not spend a ton of money on a puffer jacket...this jacket is where it's at. SO GOOD!!!!! I bought a DKNY puffer jacket that was way too heavy and hot, then I bought a very expensive The North Face puffer jacket that is so bulky and then I saw Leann Benjamin blog this Amazon Essentials puffer jacket. I bought it and it is so comfortable, true to size, not too hot, so super light weight snd very comfortable. I wore it on a trip to St. Louis a week ago and they had 12 inches of snow and it was cold...I was warm and comfortable in my new Amazon puffer! Buy this!!!!

Great quality and price point

I tried this out via Amazon Wardrobe, and wound up liking it. Though I'm usually a size M in similar North Face coats, I wound up exchanging for a size L. The pockets are zippered which is great, the length is great, and living in a winter-prone area, even the padding is great and warm (though I do tend to layer up anyway by habit). The only thing I'd change is adding an internal pocket or "hidden" pocket perpendicular to the zipper seam, which is a feature my previous coat had. That came in handy for a passport, or cash, or other small things when traveling or on the go.

Love it!

I love this product! I ordered this jacket along with a $140 North Face and honestly loved this one so much more! Super comfortable and lightweight. I typically wear a hoodie underneath so I don’t know if that makes a difference but it’s definitely a better option for the better price!

Great College Coat

My daughter needed a coat for wearing around campus, to/from classes. She is not a "brand name" girl, so we shopped around. This coat is perfect. About 1/3 the price of North Face and all the comfort. Light weight, but warm. Long enough to cover her well. She has gotten tons of compliments on the coat and she loves it.

Great coat!

This coat is light weight but warm. I live in New England and have been searching for a new coat, I have purchased and returned North Face and Patagonia coats because of quality and fit issues. It was 32 degrees when I left my house this morning and this coat kept me comfortable while my car was heating up. Great coat at a great price point! I ordered a size medium.

Compares well to high end jackets but with a few very minor flaws

Likes: packs well for traveling; kept me warm on a very cold, blustery, windy, sleeting rain day touring in Israel. love the hood and longer length for extra warmth; price was great compared to more expensive North Face and Columbia jackets. Dislikes: the zipper is difficult and takes a bit of time to get the jacket zipped up; the pouch the jacket comes with is much, much too small to stuff the jacket into, it was basically useless and I really needed this for traveling.

Just as expected but you get what you pay for

Due to unexpected travel I ended up in Chicago in the winter with none of my warm winter jackets. Since I already own various north face winter jackets I didn’t want to buy an expensive one that would be the same so I found this one hoping it would work in the interim. For the price the jacket is good but certainly not comparable to the major brands (north face, Patagonia, Columbia, etc) which I expected so I am not disappointed but if you need something very warm and we’ll insulated this isn’t the jacket for you. My biggest complaint is that I bought this in large part due to the fact that it came with a bag to stuff the jacket into while not in use but the bag that was sent is too small with at least 1/4 of the jacket not fitting. I stuffed it in as tightly as possible, literally until the seams ripped slightly and still had a ~2 foot tail of jacket hanging out. Unless you’re supposed to vaccine the air out of the stuffed bag I have literally no idea how it’s supposed to fit. Given the price:quality I’m not shocked but just a heads up to others
