I'm impressed...

These just arrived today. I own a pair of Tieks, but have been wanting another pair. I also didn't want to pay what I did for another pair. While these are NOT Tieks, I do like them. And for the price I paid for these, I can buy several pairs and not feel guilty. I can see a difference in the stitching. On the plus side, the toe area seems to be reinforced, so the outline of my big toe does not show through. That was one thing that really bothered me with my Tieks. These are also soft and comfortable right out of the box. I had high hopes but low expectations when I bought these, and I'm so glad I decided to try them. I wear size 8 in almost every shoe, and ordered my usual size in these. I think they are true to size. I will more than likely purchase more colors.

Honest Review after 1 month of daily wear

I bought these shoes a month ago and have been wearing them since I bought them, I wanted to wait on writing a review so I could give honest and accurate feedback. PROS Very comfortable and buttery soft Durable - Holding up extremely well No scuffs or fading in leather Easy to surface clean No blisters Affordable CONS Have to use an insole if additional cushioning is needed. (Not so much a con as many shoes require an additional insole) I bought these shoes because I wanted Tieks, however being a stay-at-home mom, Tieks are not currently in my price range. I did lots of Googling to find shoes that are similar to Tieks and I watched lots of YouTube reviews on similar shoes. When I was about to buy one of those other brands, these popped up as a suggestion on Amazon. I read the great reviews and decided for the price they were worth trying. I am so thankful that I found these shoes! I have always worn a 9.5, but after three kids my feet have flattened out a little bit and I am somewhere between a 9.5 and a 10. I went ahead and ordered a pair of black ballet flats in a size 10 and I'm very glad I did. They are perfect, they don't feel too big, they aren't flopping off and they aren't too tight, just right. There is plenty of room in the toe area which I'm happy about, often times ballet flats seem tighter in the toe area. No ouchy toes for me. Also with flats I often run into sore heels as the shoe will rub on the back of my heel creating a blister. That hasn't happened a... Read More

These are comfortable and very cute

I am a fan. I was going to try the tieks flats but decided to buy a cheaper alternative first. These are comfortable and very cute. I walked in them for a couple of hours and there is no blisters or anything. Seems to be of decent quality. If you are between sizes, I suggest going up 1/2 to 1 size (depending on whether you have wide or narrow feet).

Super comfortable and nice looking shoes!

I originally bought this for the unique color and thought for the price I would give it a try. When I tried them on they were so comfortable and were comparable to my Tieks flat shoes in the way they looked and fit but for a lot less price. I wore them all day without any issues. Needless, to say I ordered another pair in black since I wear flats all the time to work. If you want shoes that look nice and are super comfortable, I would recommend these shoes. I usually wear a size 71/2 or 8 and ordered the size 8 which fit perfect.

Cute and Comfortable

I bought these shoes because I needed a nice and inexpensive pair of yellow flats for an upcoming wedding. As tempting as Tieks are, I didn't want them because a) the price and b) that turquoise that have on every single pair. Found these on Amazing. They are buttery soft and fit nicely. There is NO arch support, but I'm not planning to walk 10 miles in them so I'm not too concerned about that. I am VERY glad I went up a size. Normally, I am a 8 across the board, but I did order the 8 1/2 and I know I will not regret that. At first it they seemed to press down on my big toe, but after wearing them for a while, that had subsided. The leather helped with that. This would not have happened with a plastic shoe. Update. The first couple of days I wore them, I had to take them off after a couple of hours. No more. I wear them all day with no discomfort. Bear in mind that I have two large bunions and these shoes are still comfortable and cute. I have since ordered two more pair!

Great Value

Great product...I bought Tieks a few months ago, but actually like this shoe better!

Great pair of affordable ballet flats

I've really been wanting a pair of Tieks, but there is NO WAY I could ever justify the almost $200 per pair price tag (seriously!) So after researching online I came across these and ordered a pair in gold. I just received them, but so far no complaints. The gold color is a little more bronze than gold, but still a nice neutral color that will match just about anything. They appear to be well made and are comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear a size 9, but I wear a size 9.5 in running shoes, so I decided to size up a half size to a 9.5 and I'm glad I did (but I wouldn't size up more than a half size). I might purchase insoles, as they don't provide much support, but that's not a big issue for me. I liked them so much I decided to order another pair, in a more fun color, yellow. It would be great if they offered them in more colors and even patterns, like Tieks.

Best Ballet Flats Ever

I LOVE THESE FLATS. I have six pairs. They fit very well, are super comfy and hold up nicely. I originally bought these because they were the closest thing to Tieks I could find in my price range. I have one pair of Tieks and the flats I’m reviewing are much better in my opinion. I have a slightly wide toe box and these don’t squeeze my toes at all. The sole is safe (no slipping) and unless you’re trekking through the mountains, definitely an all-day shoe. All the colors are vibrant but yellow is my all time favorite. Skinny dark jeans, a white T-shirt + these yellow ballet flats and suddenly my outfit is cute, not sloppy. I get asked about these flats every time I wear them. And they are real, very supple leather. You really can’t go wrong with these; definitely give them a try.

Don’t necessarily size up

I’m going to keep ordering these until I get the size right. I ordered up based on many reviews (a 10 instead of my usual size 9) and the shoes are massive. Totally unwearable. They fit like I would imagine a typical 10 fits. Perhaps the difference in size comes when you are starting much lower on the size range, but I can say for sure I would never be able to wear these shoes around town as is. I am returning and will instead try both a size 9 and a 9.5 to compare. This is the “peach” color, and it is a deep, bold, true red. For the modest price point, I am initially happy with the shoe quality and appearance. The stitching could be a little more even, but that’s what you get when you’re not buying a pair of $80+ flats. The toe box is nice and wide, which I appreciate. I would liken the overall width and shape to Tieks or the Lucky Brand Emmie flat. I’m hoping with the correct size, these will become a great staple in my shoe collection!

Comparing to my Tieks

I read lots of the reviews and decided to go up a size from a normal shoe (I've always gone up at least a 1/2 size in a flat). I normally wear a 7.5 M and went for a 8.5 M. It worked and it allowed a little extra space for a sole insert. Yes there is little support as with most flats. Comparing to Tieks, the sole is not as thick and probably won't wear as well. From a comfort standpoint, these shoes compare favorably to my Tieks. It is a good value considering Tieks are 5 times more expensive.
