Holy Grail Foundation!

I’ve purchased this foundation so many times already and I thought why not let everyone one how much you love it? I love it. I recommend this foundation to every one of my friends and they have loved it too. Doesn’t matter if your skin is oily or dry - mine is extremely dry and sensitive. You need to make it part of your makeup collection. It has a medium coverage. My skin has been pretty clear lately so just a few dots on my faces will cover everything. Even though I have dry skin it doesn’t make me look flat or cakey. It looks really natural. Since it doesn’t have SPF you won’t have to worry about flash photography, it looks amazing. Ok, let’s talk about the packaging for a second, I HATE IT. The price is varies depending on where you buy it, I found it cheaper here on Amazon and I’ve been purchasing my back ups here since then. I’m in the shade 220 natural beige and use MAC NC37, Loreal true match W4, Milani conceal + perfect 03 light beige, too faced peach perfect natural beige.

Never expected this would be so good!

I have never bought a foundation this cheap. I bought this one simply because so many YouTubers claim how good this is. They say that this is a full-coverage, matte foundation that doesn't result in a greasy ball at the end of the day; some found it to be oxidizing quite a bit. My skin is combination, with some dryness on the cheek, but also very oily in the T zone. I bought this in 128 (nude beige) and the dewy version in 220 (natural beige) to give a try, since it's only $6, even if it doesn't work it's no big deal. I got different colors because I couldn't tell on their website which color would fit me better and thought that buying both would allow mixing if colors are too dark or too light. The dewy version oxidizes to like 3 shades darker with an orange undertone, and super oily, not in a good way, even right after applying. The matte and poreless version in 128 did NOT oxidize, applied very smoothly (i just used my fingers), did not accentuate my pores, and lasted all day without making my face look oily. This is so good. Never expected this would be so good given that it's only $6! I have tried Nars and Lancome foundations, and they either end up too oily or cling on to my dry patches, none of them work as well as this one. I highly recommend this foundation in nude beige 128 for Asian light-medium skin with a yellow undertone.

STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE BRANDS!

So i have been in the search for the perfect foundation for the last year. I have tried many "top and luxury" brands such as Tarte, IT Costmetics, Bare Minerals, Thrive, Benefit, etc, etc for foundations and have never found the perfect one. A lot of them came of too easy, made me break out, didn't have great shades, separated, and had so many other issues. I said screw it...I am going to try these cheap 6$ foundation and just see how it goes. Why not? It has great reviews and is super cheap. I was not disappointed. I applied it with a flat top brush and the first thing I noticed was how well it blended in and left no brush strokes or imperfections. The matte effect is something I have always wanted for a kind of softer look. It doesn't' feel heavy on your face, it actually feels like I am not really wearing anything at all. It has medium coverage. By the end of the day, it looked exactly how it was right after I first put it on. TRY THIS STUFF! STOP SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE BRANDS. I use to spend $30-$40 for a bottle of foundation and now I get to buy the perfect one for a fraction of the price.

Great!

So I thought I would give this foundation a try because I had seen good reviews about it. It has been hard for me to find any foundation that I love because they are either too thick in consistency, too thin, have poor coverage, look too cakey, dry out my skin or make my skin look really oily as the day wears on. I experienced absolutely NONE of that with this foundation. The consistency was perfect, it didn't dry out my skin and as the day wore on, it did not leave my face an oily mess. It was really good coverage as well, wasn't sheer or anything. I loved it so much that I suggested my mom try it because she was spending $50 on a high end brand foundation. She was skeptical, but she ended up trying it and loving it also! She said she was shocked that it covered up the bags under her eyes so well without looking caked on. She also said that the color we chose from the many options available, matched her skin even better than her high end one! We both agreed that if this foundation had one negative, it was that it came in a pour bottle instead of a pump or squeeze. That's it, that's our only complaint. Great stuff!

I genuinely love this product

I recently began using this after being fed up with an old foundation. I genuinely love this product. I find that my combo skin does not get too oily, and it does not cling to my dry patches either. I am Bare Shell in Bare Minerals liquid serum foundation and in this collection I was matched to beBuff Beige. I think next time that I buy this foundation that I will go down a shade. It's just a bit too dark for my personal preference. I am fair to medium with neutral undertones. I found this to be medium coverage, which is ok with me. I am not someone that generally reaches for full coverage foundation. I don't have many areas that I want to cover, so I don't need concealer with it. You will need concealer if you have areas you want to hide. I set it with my translucent Kiko powder and it lasts all day for me. Blush and eyeshadow blend well on top of it. I don't notice the foundation moving as I layered additional products on top of it. This does give me a matte finish, but I don't believe the poreless claim. I didn't notice that my pores were any smaller using this product. I do not use primer under this at all. I normally don't so I wanted to test it without any. It lasted pretty much all day on me. I didn't notice the foundation breaking up during the day, even when my face got the tiniest bit shiny. This is a great foundation overall. I am definitely buying it again. It performs as well as foundations that are 2-3 times the price!

INCREDIBLE FOUNDATION!

This is silky smooth but covers most every imperfection on me. I always get shiny and greasy looking with foundations, but not with this one. Refined my larger pores and kept me matte all night long. Did not melt off..although I use a ton of face powder mixed with a little corn starch to set and minimize shine. This one shade was a tiny bit dark for my fairer skin so I'm trying Warm Beige next. Couldn't tell in the nightclub that it was too dark but in daylight would've been noticeable. That's the problem buying foundation online. Trial and error. But this makeup is a keeper! Yes! Will not be without it!

It's a Cheap but Effective Foundation

It's a great foundation for those of us who don't want full coverage and who don't wear a lot of makeup. It feels like it adds a more even tone to my face without "covering up" every feature on my face. Because of the sheerness, it blends in very easily. I have a very light skin tone (I usually buy the lightest option available in skin products) and this matches me perfectly. It smells nice and doesn't feel too heavy on my face. It doesn't last all day, but it lasts long enough for your event!

I Love This Foundation

The only thing this foundation needs to make it perfect is an SPF, but you really can't beat the price. I like that it's so affordable I can afford a couple of different shades for when my skin is slightly darker in the summer. I have a very oily t-zone and this foundation keeps my face from getting shiny and doesn't cause me to break out. It goes on easily and looks natural. I like it just as much as an expensive make-up counter foundation that I used to use that is now discontinued. (Except that one had an SPF... but it did cost like 5 times as much so there's that too...)

Found my Holy Grail!

I have finally found my Holy Grail foundation and I CANNOT believe it's a "drugstore" brand. I have tried Clinique, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Lorac, MUFE, Becca and several others and can never get the coverage I want that's a good color match that doesn't make me look greasy by lunch time or a cake face. This foundation is really perfect. I also belong to a makeup group on Facebook with over 10,000 members and this is the "drugstore" foundation that gets recommended again and again by the ladies in there so it's not an isolated opinion. I also tend to be on the dry side especially this time of year but I don't like the look of dewy foundation so I got the Matte & Poreless anyway and it's perfect!

One of Few Truly Pale Drugstore Foundations BUT...

It is very difficult to find a relatively inexpensive foundation that matches my pale complexion. The closest matte comparison is from Kat Von D's line. While this does not fight oil very well, with regular powdering and a primer, it's a solid foundation. I have found it best applies to my skin with my Real Techniques sponge rather than a damp or dry buffing brush. Helps cut down on any undesirable texture. Admittedly, it is not perfect in that it is still a shade too warm for my skintone. Attached is a photo on my inner arm, which is slightly darker than my face. Even fully blended out it is still too yellow.
