This is a great bag.
I travel frequently for work and needed something more protective and practical than my purse to carry my laptop around. I had been searching for months for a laptop backpack that was polished, professional and feminine…and not made of heavy leather. A very tall order. I reluctantly began searching for the best pricing for the Tumi Carson, which I had seen on a colleague who had similar challenges finding an appropriate backpack for work. Fortunately, while searching Amazon for the Tumi, I ran across this Sophie bag from Kenneth Cole Reaction. It appeared to be very similar in style and size as the Tumi Carson, so I took a chance and placed an order. What a great bag! Having seen the Tumi in person, there is no way I could justify its' $400 price tag when this Kenneth Cole is equally functional and a fraction of the cost. Admittedly, it lacks some of the refinements of a $400 bag (the Tumi nylon is slightly higher quality, and the back straps are nicer and don't have dangling ends)…but this is not a deal breaker. I carry Dooney and Bourke bags exclusively - so I have a certain "standard" when it comes to handbags, totes and briefcases. For the price, this Sophie bag is a great deal, and more importantly, it is polished enough to carry with my business attire. It slides over the bulky handle on my Travelpro Platinum carry-on with ease, holds my laptop in a padded compartment, cords, wallet, phones, makeup bag, iPad, and has plenty of room to spare. Lightweight, functional, lots of compartments
To be honest I was debating between a 4 or 5 star rating. Love all the compartments, super easy to be organized. It’s not a super large bag so it doesn’t look bulky or will kill your back when you over stuff. Very sturdy and hella functional. The only minor downside is the zipper color. It’s like yellow gold, the stitching is a lighter color and the zipper pull thingie is darker gold more rose gold. It’s odd and does make the bag seem cheap if you look really closely at the zipper and stitching. But honestly, it’s the best bag I’ve found for the size, color, price and functionality. It’s great for travel and business which is what I use it for. It’s in-line with a lot of the higher brand travel backpack ie Travelpro, Tumi, Briggs & Riley, Away, etc.

Tumi who???
I've been on the fence for the Tumi Carson backpack for a while but really couldn't stomach $400 for a backpack! I'll spend that kind of money and more on handbags, but not a backpack to sling my work stuff around in! Then I found this online and it was a no brainier! I work for the airlines and travel for work and this backpack meets all of my needs. super impressed with the quality and price point. And it comes with Kenneth Cole lifetime limited warranty (which they do an amazing job at upholding). I can fit my 32oz tumbler in the side pocket.

Love this backpack!
I am really pleased with this backpack. One of my favorite Amazon purchases so far. I've order all sorts of bags looking for the right office tote/bag/etc. I'm really happy with this one. It's classy and similar to the Tumi I was tempted by, but couldn't bring myself to pay nearly $400 for.

I love this backpack
I love this backpack! I had been looking for this exact design and coloring in a bag but couldn't find one of both good quality and nice style. I was almost going to spend $300+ on a Tumi bag and I'm so glad I didn't. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is great and the style is even better. I love all the pockets and can fit my work supplies and gym clothes. It has held up great for a few months now and seems like it will for many months to come. Highly recommend!

Great travel backpack for women
I’d been looking around for a new work bag. I travel 3 weeks out of the month and the strain of my shoulder bag was getting to me. After looking at BRIC, Tumi and Lo and Sons I saw this bag. It was on sale for $66 bucks which is a third of what I’d pay for any of the other backpacks I’d been eyeing. This backpack is awesome! It looks classy but functional. There are so many compartments to put anything and everything! Not sure how long it will last but I’m so pleased with it already!

Great travel bag
I got this as a work bag to spare my back and shoulders. It has worked great. It has lots of compartments and zippered areas to store chargers and other components. It has a back strap that allows it to slide on the handle of a rolling back for easy travel. I am a little concerned about the long term durability, but as low priced as this was, I’ll just buy another one if I need to. Much cheaper than it’s Tumi counterpart.

Very nice quality backpack.
I bought this in lieu of a Tumi and glad I did. The pockets and laptop portion are perfect as a work backpack with the 2 side pockets for water bottle. It also stands nicely on its own. The only thing I wish it had was a secret cell phone pocket.

Best Traveling Buy
The pictures don't do the bag justice!!! This bag is perfect. Exactly what I needed for work travel and personal travel! So many pockets!!!! So beyond happy with this purchase. I've wanted a Tumi bag so badly but I'm so glad I saved my money and got this bag instead. Very durable.

Professional Travel Backpack
