Reviews for Wet & Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer, 1.6 Ounce
People say Wet N Wild is really similar to Urban Decay.
ladies!! if you have trouble with your shadow staying on, BUY THIS... ive used it all.. ive tried very expensive shadows, to urban decay primer, ect. this WORKS! I put a bit on my lids before my eyeliner & shadow & it stays all day, even the next morning my makeup is still on! I have super oily skin & lids, this is the best, no creases!!!
Buy this. You won’t regret it.
I never write reviews, but this product seriously earned its 5 stars from me. I have oily eyelids and even Urban Decay primer potion creases after a few hours. I wore this to an outdoor graduation in Georgia heat, humidity, and rain, and my eyeshadow didn’t budge. When I got home after 12 hours of wear, my eyeshadow was exactly how I applied it. This stuff works miracles, and I will never use another primer.
Affordable must-have primer
This has been compared to the Urban Decay eye primer and honestly this works perfectly as well even though it’s so much cheaper. It’s tinted and dries a bit fast, but as long as you do your eye makeup right away, it stays for pretty long and shows the eyeshadows’ true colors. You just need a little dab each time so the whole tube will last a long while.
Nice dupe at a great price
This works great! I've been using a tiny tube of Urban Decay primer that I got with an eyeshadow palette and finally ran out, but didn't want to pay for a full-size version. I read that this is a good dupe and it is! I haven't tried a lot of eyeshadow primers, but it goes on smoothly and has a thicker formulation so I feel like it's really doing something. I tried the Ulta brand primer previously and found it very watery and not very effective. It's pretty transparent on my eyelids, but I'm extremely pale so I can't say for sure that it would be sheer on everyone. I will definitely buy it again when I eventually run out...but that will probably take a very long time!!
This primer is my HG (HOLY GRAIL). I have extremely oily, tapered-shaped eyelids. This is the only product that I have found that kept my eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara on my eyelids and not under my eyes (aka panda/I slept in my makeup). I've used Urban Decay before but I find the staying power isn't as long. Important note: if you use too much of this, it can dry kind of white so make sure you use a thin layer and you rub it in well. It can feel drying on the eyelids, but I think that's how it prevents fading and creasing. The outer corners of my eyes creases when I smile or laugh so I find that even with the primer, my eyeliner doesn't stay on as well, but everywhere else is perfect. This is probably not the primer's fault, but my skin crease's fault.
Don't waste your money on expensive brands!
I previously used the eyeshadow primer from Urban Decay and as others have said, this one is as good or better at a fraction of the cost! It takes just a teeny bit and make sure you keep your lids closed until it dries before using your shadow.
Works great for keeping my pencil eyeliner in place!
I usually use Urban Decay but I wanted something less expensive that would still get the job done. I use this mainly to keep my pencil liner in place and it works great. It goes on wet but dries quick enough. I'd say I have an olive skin color it does dry with a little light color to it but it's no biggie. Just make sure you blend it in good and dont use too much. I like it, will purchase more when I run out!
Works just as good as Urban Decay
I have hooded eyes and have only ever used UD eyeshadow primer to keep my eyeliner and eyeshadow in place. I ordered the Wet N Wild primer on a whim and did not regret it! My eye makeup stays in place for days. 10/10
What a great difference this makes!
Can’t believe I’ve been using eye shadow without primer all these years! This makes it stayvwithout creasing all day long. I read that it was a dupe for the legendary Urban Decay primer, and while I haven’t used that one to compare, this one is great at a fraction of the cost.
Best eye shadow primer! And cheap!
Works like a charm! I typically use urban decay eye potion primer, and it's really expensive. Switched to this, and it works just as well! My eye lids get very oily and liquid eyeliner will always bleed over time... with this stuff, I can wear it all day without worries!!!
