Reviews for True Match Super-Blendable Foundation Makeup

People say Loreal Paris is really similar to Urban Decay.

My favorite, ever.

I used to wear this foundation for years, I loved how buildable it was, how natural the finish was, how it was made with a sunscreen that didn't break me out and how affordable it was.. my only issue was at the time the lightest shade 1.0 was too dark for me. I would have to add a white mixer every time I wore it. So, I changed foundations, I've tried Urban Decay, Elf, Anastasia, Clinique, Estee' Lauder and a ton in between out of all of them I love the Anastasia one but it's expensive and also offers no sunscreen so I was browsing around on the Ulta app and saw they had added to shades to this range and a new lightest shade! I ordered it, tried it and it's perfect! The same amazing foundation I know and love from years ago.. looks like I'm back to my tried and true! (I have combo skin, texture, large pores and am acne prone) You need to try this!

LOVE!

This foundation is now my only and my FAV! This is my TRUE MATCH! Gives me a clean flawless look, I have tried all kinds of high-end makeup out of curiosity, thinking there might be something better out there. I WILL NOT EVER REPLACE MY L'oreal Super blendable makeup! I love it so much i hope i have access to this FOREVER. < 3 I tried all from (Clinique,Maybelline,Giorgio Armani, YSL, Dior, Givenchy, Lancome, Too Face, HUDA, Estee Lauderm Fenty, Nars, Urban Decay, Charlotte Tilbury, Milk, Dermablend, Chanel) I will not be trying anything else as iv fail to find something better than this. Does not break me out and i love it!

No more prestige brands

I have always bought brands like bare minerals, urban decay, beauty blender etc. this is by far my most favorite foundation ever! It covers so well. The only thing is the shade isn't perfect for me so i mix two together to make it but it's so much cheaper even buying the two foundations. I work 10 hour days and it stays put!

Will be buying again

I use this on a daily basis. I do have dark spots due to pimples or zits so I use a concealer the urban decay naked skin or kat von d but i prefer UD concealer such lightweight. Anyways this foundation to me its like a dupe of UD naked skin foundation from 40 to maybe 8 or 9 dollars heck yeah I'll go with the cheap one.

I would give this...

I would give this foundation five stars for the color match alone. I am very fair skinned, and I have SUCH a hard time finding makeup to match me. Once I went to ULTA and sat for over an hour as the Urban Decay saleslady tried EVERY pale shade of foundation that they had in their more expensive side. After realizing that everything was too yellowy/orange or dark for me, she actually motioned to the "drugstore" side, and said, "You need to try Loreal. They actually have professional-grade quality and have a ton of shades." So, I did. And I was not disappointed. I wear the C1, and it is perfect for my pink undertones. It also does great with my oily skin. The first day I wore it my boyfriend came to visit me at work around 3, and asked me if I had put more makeup on before he came. I said no and he said, "Wow... it's actually staying on today!" Good enough recommendation for me!! Plus, it's soooo affordable. Sometimes ULTA does it buy one get one half off. Can't beat that. Please please don't discontinue!! (That always happens to me...) I love it!!

Love it

I am so happy I gave this a try! I am in love with the au rban Decay Naked foundation, and I find this as a dupe to the 'Naked' foundation. You do need a primer and if you do have dry skin, it does seem to stick to the dry patches and fine lines, but I think it works great with a primer. Like I said I'm excited to find something cheap with a great application and overall result that is comparable to one of my higher end make up. I will still continue to by my urban decay foundation but am happy to have found a comparable product that is less expensive to use in between and save me money on purchasing urban decay as frequent! The only downside is the packaging. It is messy and does not have a pump. But the product itself is awesome!

Must Have Foundation

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! This is my new go-to foundation. It's a full coverage drugstore foundation that works just as good as the hig-end foundations I use like Urban Decay and Makeup Forever. It's great coverage for a low-price and lasts all day!

My First Foundation

This is the first liquid foundation I've tried after using powder bronzer for years. I love it because I sometimes get dry patches on my skin. The old powder bronzer I used made it worse but this liquid foundation made it non-existent! Its very light and feels like you're not wearing anything. It is very blendable, but I have found that it is hard finding my exact shade. This is no exception. I used the soft sable in C6, and it is a little dark for me. (I am a light-skin black woman.) However, it still looks really good. It doesn't last very long, but I ALWAYS use my setting spray by Urban Decay and it literally lasts all day.

Great shade range, great for sensitive skin

I am paler than most and so I often struggle with finding a foundation that is actually my shade and not just 'the lightest shade this brand carries'. I have tried both luxury and drugstore brands for this: Fenty, Urban Decay, Covergirl, NYX, and so on. This foundation is the first I've found that not only is actually pale enough for my skin, but also has a shade that MATCHES MY UNDERTONES! A lot of paler foundations will have an ivory shade that just has really intense red or yellow undertones- this line features a foundation that is ivory-pale but also accounts for my cool undertones (my face is very blush pink in the light, but I don't burn easily- I bought shade C0.5 Fair Ivory) Upon looking deeper into the brand I realized that they also have very nice deep shades, so for my more melanated sisters...there's hope! Let's talk about skin, though. I have very sensitive, oily skin. A lot of makeup makes me break out, or absorb too hard into the skin and end up looking very cakey and dry, or even sometimes just straight up smear on the skin instead of creating a nice blurred/airbrushed look. I have very textured skin because of large pores, and sometimes my skin does not take foundation well even if I use a primer first to cover up the pores around my cheeks and nose. With this foundation, there was none of that. I washed my face and moisturized as usual, allowed about twenty to thirty minutes for my skin to absorb any product and dry, and applied the foundation right away wi... Read More

Good for mature skin

I watched a video on youtube (by angie from hotandflashy) on this foundation and she gave great reviews. I am forever trying to find a foundation that is not too thick, not too thin, does not settle into wrinkles, does not accentuate pores and is generally perfect! I was skeptical about trying another foundation that just did not work. But the price is great so had to try. It was a bit disappointing the first time I tried it by itself. I then experimented with different primers and moisturizer. Like a lot of people I layer products, including sunscreen, on my face. I think this causes all sorts of problem with foundations. Since I am in my 60's it is harder to find something that will look natural and is not a pain to use. I have dry skin so mixing this will a bit of moisturizer is the best choice for me. It then goes on smoothly, looks natural and does not settle or show dry patches. Also it does not change color during the day (oxidation). No fragrance. So this $7 foundation works better for me than my more expensive It, Urban decay and Tarte foundations. I am light and the Classic Ivory is okay. It is a bit lighter than I wanted so this summer the color Natural buff will be a better match.

My New Favorite Foundation

I never thought I would love a drugstore foundation so much. I am a woman of color and I have had a really hard time finding foundations that will provide me with light 'no makeup' coverage, not have annoying, ugly yellow undertones, or turn grey on my skin within hours of me applying it. I previously used Urban Decays cream to powder foundation in Mirage, but found that it was too yellow and made me look jaundiced. I have most recently worn Clinique's CC cream in medium/deep, but after several months of wear I applied it in natural light and was shocked to find that my skin looked grey and corpse-like in the sun. Ugh! Also, the Clinique goes on greasy and on me, stays greasy. If I brush my hand against my face, it feels slick. I still use this foundation but have switched over to a lighter color, which is W7. I found out lately that I do have warm undertones (as told to me by the woman at the Bobbi Brown counter). This shade works much better for me and matches my natural color much better. I was surprised by the coverage. I have never used a liquid foundation before (up to this point) and I feared this would go on cakey and heavy and make it obvious to all that i'm wearing foundation. Instead it goes on sheer and smooth as heaven. I have freckles (thanks dad!) that I love and never want to cover, and this foundation is light enough to let them show. If you wanted to build this up you probably could, but I'm fine with just two applications. Its STILL sheer. Love. I apply t... Read More
