I train strength & Oly lifting and these minimals do it all. For reference, my sampling includes, in order: 1) Merrell trail glove 5 2) Merrell trail glove 4 3) inov8 bare xf 210 4) xero prio 5) anything new balance The traction on the trail gloves sets them above the rest. I can do broad jumps without hesitation because the shoes grip even a grass surface and I can sprint on a track because the grip is so aggressive. Working out is also improved because the foot ventilation is better in v5 than in v4
